Are you interested in improving your softball skills, participating in some weekend tournaments and enjoying even more softball? If so, then RHMSA Select teams are the right teams for you!

The start of the season is just around the corner and we are inviting all interested players to the Select tryouts! These tryouts are for girls born in the years 2002 to 2013.

*Team creation at the various age levels will be dependent on the numbers.


Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Lake Wilcox Public School (gymnasium):

For Players born in the years 2009 – 2013: 6:15 pm to 7:45 pm

For Players born in the years 2002 – 2008: 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Lake Wilcox Public School (gymnasium):

Call backs – players will be notified

* Players who are offered a position must fully register for the 2023 season of RHMSA House League within one week of the offer, or the offer will be rescinded.

Please confirm your attendance at the tryout by emailing and indicating the player’s name and birth year.

Come Try Softball & Bring A Friend Event

RHSMA is proud to announce the second annual RHMSA FEST!
DATE: Saturday, MARCH 25th, 2023
LOCATION: Bayview Hills Community Centre Gym
Whether you are a returning player or new to softball, we want you to come and enjoy the activities.
It’s a great opportunity to BRING A FRIEND to showcase our fun league AND see friends from last year.
You will be able to get your very own SCOUTING REPORT by trying different drills.

ACTIVITIES: 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
PIZZA (must register): 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.


For all participants that PRE-REGISTER for this event you will enjoy a free slice of pizza, and your name will be entered into a draw to WIN PRIZES!

Planning for the 2023 summer season of softball is in full swing! Registration is now open and we look forward to another season of making friends, enjoying the fresh air, and learning the great game of softball.

RHMSA is always looking for new volunteers to help the league. Are you interested or do you know anyone who is interested in
• coaching,
• sponsoring,
• working on a planning committee, or
• doing grant research from home?

P.S. – In an effort to grow the game of softball, our Learn to Play program for 4-7 year olds is only $100 for an entire summer of fun – please spread the word to your friends and neighbours.
