Congratulations Grant Taylor for being awarded Coach of The Year! Thank you for another awesome summer of softball. Again, you did a fantastic job coaching your team this season. Your positive attitude and dedication over the years is certainly an asset to the league! RHMSA Executive Ken Perry (left), Coach Grant Taylor (right).

RHMSA was very fortunate to have had many amazing people step up to coach this season. We would like to sincerely thank them all. It’s because of your commitment and coaching skills that the kiddos of our community had a place to play ball this summer.

Thank you Yogi’s Bar & Grill in Richmond Hill for hosting our Annual Coaches Appreciation Dinner this year. The food was certainly fresh and delicious!

Congratulations to the U12 Select girls for placing 3rd at the Vaughan tournament on July 5 where 8 teams participated. Our young team, all from Richmond Hill, fought hard against seasoned teams such as Whitby’s senior team and Topham Park and won, giving them the bronze medal. RHMSA is proud of the players, coaches and Select Program and wishes the team good luck at their next tournament on August 8th in Brampton! LET’S GO REBELS!

In their first tournament of the season, the U10 Select girls, coached by German Porraz and Steve Sarkissian, proudly represented Richmond Hill in our own hosted tournament at Ozark Park on Saturday, July11th. Despite being a young and inexperienced team, the girls played aggressive, and pulled out a win against Milton. Even though the team had a couple of close losses, they still placed 4th overall. Congratulations to the coaches and girls!
