Do you want to learn a new skill and earn extra spending money over the summer? RHMSA is looking for individuals 13 years of age and older to umpire weeknight games. No experience necessary. All you need is a positive attitude and enjoying being outdoors! Interested candidates must attend Softball Ontario umpire’s clinic that will cover the fundamentals of umpiring. Combined Junior & Intermediate Clinic for umpires under 19 years of age
This clinic is a combination of Junior & Intermediate umpire training. The clinic is (7) hours. For the first (5) hours both the Junior and Intermediate portions would cover the same curriculum. At that time, those registered for the Junior portion would have completed their clinic. The Intermediate umpires would then receive the required two (2) additional hours of instruction. By participating in this clinic, umpires can umpire House League and local Select Tournaments, but can’t umpire provincial championship tournaments. Junior ump clinic (approx. 5 hours) – $55 includes lunch
Intermediate ump clinic (approx. 7 hours) – $65 includes lunch
