RHMSA is happy to announce that registration for the 2023 season is now open!

Planning for the 2023 summer season of softball is in full swing! Registration is now open and we look forward to another season of making friends, enjoying the fresh air, and learning the great game of softball.

RHMSA is always looking for new volunteers to help the league. Are you interested or do you know anyone who is interested in
• coaching,
• sponsoring,
• working on a planning committee, or
• doing grant research from home?
If so, please contact me at secretary@rhmsa.ca .

P.S. – In an effort to grow the game of softball, our Learn to Play program for 4-7 year olds is only $100 for an entire summer of fun – please spread the word to your friends and neighbours.

Congratulations to the U19 Rep team who earned a 3rd place victory in the CEWFL Championships!

The Rep team had a chance to compete with a women’s fastpitch team, showing the team that fastpitch softball can be played well beyond university. Our players would like to thank Cindy Cooper and the Sophie’s Sports Bar team for a fun game.

Congratulations go out to the U17 Select team who competed in the Richmond Hill tournament on Saturday, July 23. The team won their first 3 loop games against Topham Park, Vaughan, and St. Catharines to qualify for the gold medal match. After a hard fought game that was lost by a narrow margin, the girls came away with the silver medal. A special thank you goes out to Grace and Zoe who were called in to join the team in the middle of the tournament due to the loss of 2 other players to injury and heat exhaustion. Congratulations to Morgan, Mercedeh, Emily, Gabby, Arciniega, Grace, Isabel, Beth, Alissa, Evelyn, Zoe, Hailey and Sam.
