Looking for a wonderful way to spend a summer evening and make some money?

RHMSA will be hosting 2 umpire training clinics through Softball Ontario on April 6, 2024 from 9 – 4 pm at Elgin West Community Centre in Richmond Hill. Registration is now open and spaces are limited. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity for a summer job!

Note: No previous softball experience is required. Anyone 12 and over is welcome! Adults, siblings, etc. can all register to be trained. Yearly umpire training is mandatory to ensure certification and insurance coverage from Softball Ontario.

How to Register:

  1. Create a Softball Ontario account using the name and date of birth of the participant (parents, please do not create the account in your name unless you plan to become an umpire).
  2. Register for the April 6 Richmond Hill “Youth” or “Level 1” clinic, according to the participant’s age as of April 6, 2024.

RHSMA is proud to announce our third annual RHMSA FEST!

LOCATION: Bayview Hills Community Centre Gym

Whether you are a returning player or new to softball, we want you to come and enjoy the activities.
It’s a great opportunity to BRING A FRIEND to showcase our fun league AND see friends from last year. If you bring a friend new to the league, you and your friend will WIN A PRIZE!

TIME:
ACTIVITIES: 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
PIZZA (must register): 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Are you interested in improving your softball skills, participating in some weekend tournaments and enjoying even more softball? If so, then RHMSA Select teams are the right teams for you!

The start of the season is just around the corner and we are inviting all interested players to the Select tryouts! These tryouts are for girls born in the years 2003 to 2015.

Players will be trying out for their age appropriate division team and may be requested to play at the next higher division as well.

Birth Years: 2003 to 2012 inclusive
Monday, March 18 AND Monday, March 25 from 8:15 pm to 10:15 pm at Richmond Hill High School

Birth Years: 2013, 2014, and 2015
Tuesday, March 19 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Silver Pines Public School

*If interested, please submit an email to secretary@rhmsa.ca as soon as possible which includes both the player’s name and birth year.

*Team creation at the various age levels will be dependent on the numbers.

Wednesdays beginning January 17, 2024, from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm.

Pre-registered participants only: February 28, March 6, 27, April 3, 10, and 24
Open to all winter clinic registrants: January 17, 24, 31, February 7 , 14 , 21, and April 17

RHMSA is pleased to announce the start of our winter Batting Clinic for players in U11 and up. Come out to the gym to practise your batting from tees and the pitching machine.
